@junebugsmama: so odd ! We actually get a discount on physician services in-house. But, really, we're the only children's hospital within an hour, so there's not really another option.

There is a children's urgent care across the street from us... maybe 3 minutes? The children's hospital is like 15-20 min.

The health system I work for has a peds unit, and it's about 15 minutes. But it's not equipped to handle anything super serious. The nearest "true" children's hospital is about 20 minutes away.
