How did your draft your will? Hire a lawyer specifically for it? Use a lawyer you used for something else? Do it yourself with something like Legal Zoom?
Shamefully we still don't have one and C is over 15 months old. Getting it done before the end of the yea but I want to do it right.

@fancyfunction: I have asked a couple of lawyer friends for recommendations and no one has one! They all do different types of law I guess and don't recommend anyone.

Haven't done it yet, but I plan on going to the same lawyer (or practice) that handled our house closing.

We still don't have a will and DH and I are both attorneys! But we don't specialize in wills/probate. We're planning to draft our own then have an attorney review it. Depending on how much "stuff" you have this may be a cheaper option for you than having an attorney draft it. It depends on the state, though. Some states require more than others.

@lawbee11: we don't have that much stuff, though we bought our condo this year and a car (today!). I just don't feel like we know enough about taxes and whatever to do it ourselves. I feel better that two attorneys are in the same boat.

@Foodnerd81: Your state's bar association should have a referral service that can refer you to a lawyer to help draft/review your will if you aren't able to get a recommendation from a friend.
