Gradually? Cut off cold? I can't see LO accepting no longer getting rewards for something he used to get them for. TIA!

It just sort of eventually becomes worth it for them to use the potty instead of soiling themselves. I remember it being a natural process... like, I didn't offer and sometimes he'd forget... and eventually it just petered out....

LO just stopped asking for stickers on a regular basis. We still have a sticker chart up but she only wants one every few days.

I just stopped offering for most potty occasions. Sometimes she'd ask and sometimes I'd say OK or other times I'd start putting it off and say well we have to do this and that first. And it petered out.
