I'm curious about how you felt (more general feelings an emotions than contraction stuff, etc) before you went into labor? LCrazy burst of energy or more exhausted?
Calm or stressed? Etc, etc, etc. Basically what is your "pre-birth story?

No different than any other day for LO1.
I'll let you know about LO2 once we crossed that bridge

Day before, crazy energy. Day of sick, nauseous and exhausted. DH stayed home because I was so sick.

I was super tired that day and napped most of the day. Labor started at about 6pm.

Lots of pooping. Super heavy and uncomfortable. Waddly, could hardly walk, but still spent the whole day cleaning (between poop breaks). Tons of discharge.

More energetic but not the crazy nesting kind I had had the days before. It was one of the few days I didn't nap (I regretted that!) And I stayed up way later than usual watching TV, I wanted to shower but I didn't want to spend an hour drying my hair at 11pm so I didn't. I went to bed around 11:45 and woke up at 1:30 in full on labor- I hit transition within the hour!

I had a great day, super productive and busy (got tons of stuff done at home because it was New Years day) and then about two hours before my water broke I got super grumpy. Weird, huh?

I was really uncomfortable but I just attributed it to the fact that I gained 50+ lbs. I couldn't sit still when we went out to lunch and I had DH rub my back every chance I got. I was only 37 weeks so I didn't think I was in labor!

I was really tired the night before I went into labor with my first. I slept like a rock and then woke up in labor.

I can't answer this question, because I've never gone into labor, but @.twist.: I still totally remember that thread!

Woke up early just not feeling well. Couldn't quite figure it out.. headachy, restless, just off. Was in denial about my water leaking as well. I was a little nervous once I admitted I was in labour, mostly worried that it was 'false labour' and the hospital would send me home haha

I was in nesting mode, but otherwise had no idea. After dinner, I pooped like 4 times, and then my first contraction happened at midnight. Baby was born at 6:30 that next morning.

I was just frustrated that I felt like nothing was happening! No dilation, no nothing. Then that day I had my bloody show and lost my mucus plug in the morning, and my water randomly broke at 5. Boom, fully dilated by 8:30 pm!

A lot of energy - I spent the day making about a month's worth of freezer meals!

The last two weeks before my due date (my water started leaking on my due date which began my two-day labor process!) were SO LONG. Each day felt like a week. I was totally anxious, all while willing myself to enjoy each minute of 'free time' I had pre-baby. I never had a nesting burst of energy, although as a Type-A personality I kind of spent the entire pregnancy nesting!@.twist.: This! My doctor gave me PH paper to use to test whether or not the various fluids 'down there' were amniotic fluid. On my due date the paper turned from yellow to black, and my husband made me call my doctor. Which I only did to prove him wrong . I called the doctor and was like "Well it turned black, but I'm sure it's a false alarm." And the nurse said, "No, you need to go to labor and delivery" and I said "Nah, I'm not feeling anything, I don't think I should go," and she said "No, you need to go to the hospital." It was in fact amniotic fluid and, like you said, I was in total, total denial!

The two days before I felt like I was coming down with a cold and just uncomfortable but not much different from any other day.

With DS, I really felt sick. As in, I couldn't eat. Was having a hard time walking. With DD, I felt fine but I totally had like this weird restlessness. Couldn't sleep, was pretty much walking in circles around the house. So weird!

I felt really tired. The day before DH and I went out for lunch and a walk at the park. I felt good. Next day I just felt off and really tired. My water broke that evening.

I was certain I was going to be pregnant for another week and a half and then SURPRISE! My water broke as I was taking an irate 40 week bump pic.

I was uncomfortable and just wanted the pregnancy to be done b/c I was a few days past my due date. Woke up the next day with cramps and I just knew - and I was surprisingly calm about it.

Really tired (I missed meeting up with a friend because I napped through our meeting!) and just a tad "off" - not sure how else to explain it. But I think I felt it was coming. During early labor I felt surprisingly calm (DH is a different story ).

I couldn't rest until I rounded up every pair of underwear I had and washed it. Then I took a nap. I went into labor at 6:00 that night.

I was calm and comfortable. I was prepping myself for two more weeks of waiting. I was planning to go to the gym until I lost my mucus plug.

Miserable but I had to clean. Dh thought I was crazy. Once everything was clean I slept.

I felt pretty normal. Everyone was sure I'd be at work the next day because I still felt so good. But that night, on my due date, contractions started and I had her the following morning.

Pretty good because I'd just had an emergency root canal done so I was feeling a million times better than I had been!

I was super energetic the day before. I went on a 3.5 mile walk with my BFF. Everything was normal at bedtime. I was 39 weeks and 5 days so I was definitely anxious and excited. I went into labor in the middle of the night.

felt great because i just finished putting up everything in the nursery. DH and i were going to have a date day and go to a movie and our fave dinner place. then my water broke first thing in the morning!
