I felt some discomfort like I just couldn't get comfortable the evening before, but I figured it was just being really pregnant and it was hot out. I slept great though the entire night and woke up at my normal time to contractions, I can't complain about that but certainly didn't think that day was going to be the day.
How did you feel the day before you went into labor? Or the few hours before? Did you have an idea it may be happening soon?

Awful. People actually commented that I looked awful. I went home early from work that day. (i was 33 weeks 6 days)

@littlek: That's what happened to my SIL. She ended up delivering at 30 weeks, and in the few days before my MIL said she didn't even recognize her.
I was in a pissy mood. I yelled at DH, yelled at my mom, spent over an hour trying to take the top well off of our Brita filter so I could clean the inside. I was hot, swollen, miserable, and sure I would be pregnant for several more weeks. My mom was sure I was about to go into labor, lol. I woke up the next morning with contractions that were fairly far apart but that I regular and that I couldn't sleep through.

Tired and sore. I took a nap on the couch while my clothes were in the dryer, and about two hours after I woke up, I started having contractions.

Completely and utterly normal other than being just over 37 weeks. It was a BIG surprise that my water broke at 37+2!

I didn't feel any different to any other night from the last few weeks leading up to it. So it was a total surprise when contractions started at 5am the next morning.

really really uncomfortable. but I didn't truly think that was it. I made myself go to work the next morning and came home at lunch because I was even more uncomfortable. it wasn't until I got home that I noticed 4 min contractions.

Totally fine and normal even though I was 40 weeks and 4 days. I went into labor the next morning. Contractions started at 6:30am and just never stopped.

I felt totally normal (except a little uncomfortable from being huge). I was very surprised that I went into labor and had my daughter on her due date.

I felt pretty good - just normal end-of-pregnancy discomfort. I was already a few days overdue and I did notice some blood the night before so I figured labor was eminent.

Pretty good, went out for breakfast, did a crazy walk/hike, went grocery shopping...labor was totally unexpected!

I was getting induced the next day so I was a nervous wreck all day because the past 2 weeks were pretty much bedrest since I had low amniotic fluid levels and DS was an IUGR baby.

Well, I knew I was being induced so we spent the day running around and shopping with my mom and then went out to lunch. Then, we all met up at my mom's in the vening to watch a movie with snacks. But, I was too exhausted so I made DH go home with me and I went to bed at 7PM! The next morning at 7AM I woke up in labor. No induction for me:)
I totally didn't see it coming. I am glad that I wore myself out the day before and got into bed at 7PM because I had an early morning ahead of me.

It felt very obvious that I was about to go into labor.
I had lots of discharge.
Lots of going #2.
And there was SO much pressure that I could hardly walk. I felt like the baby was about to fall out!
That night, we went to a move, and I was incredibly uncomfortable. Sure enough, I went into labor at 3 a.m. that night!!!

Miserable. I was absolutely miserable and had been the couple weeks leading up to delivery. So, nothing really special or out of the ordinary for me.

I felt okay, other than having 7 min breaks between contractions for a half hour the day before. I didn't sleep well though (not from being uncomfortable but I just couldn't sleep!) I went to bed at midnight, got up at 2-4am, fell asleep until 6am and when I got up, my water broke.

The day before I went into labor (at 38w5d), I walked about 8 miles, stood outside at an event for 4 hours, went to a 3 hour movie, and did 2 loads of laundry. I was *exhausted* and sore and really uncomfortable during that movie... and all that moving around is probably what caused my water to break.

With #1, I was a complete and total bitch. My husband kept asking what he should do with work, and I told him the baby was never coming and to do whatever he wanted. He came home early and was there to witness my water breaking 
Jury is still out on when the day before I go into labor will be with this one. Every day I think that could be it...

TOTALLY NORMAL. I thought for sure I'd have some sense of forboding, but nope. I was maybe slightly crampy, but other wise felt completely fine.

@lovehoneybee: I didn't realize how bad I looked/felt till other people commented on it. Funny thing is DH gave me a hard time because I told him I wanted to lay on the couch instead of go to work out. I can just imagine working out would have made B come sooner.

Normal. I mean, normal didn't feel good, the last few weeks were pretty awful...but there was nothing particularly different about that day.
