Just finished organizing stuff from my last shower and we are pretty much covered on everything, but we do have some duplicate stuff that I'd like to take back. For example...we got 3 play gym type things. How did you decide on which one to keep when you got duplicate stuff (of any kind)?

I would probably keep the cheapest one and exchange the others so I get more cash back/store credit : ) Unless I really didn't like the cheapest one.

I just kept whichever one I liked better.

What would you do about something you want to return but no gift receipt and aren't sure where it came from? Blah-I don't want to keep stuff I don't want/need.

@lydg: this happened to us during Christmas - we scanned things with the shop app on my phone, saw who was selling it and gave it a whirl. Both target & best buy we had luck and got store credit! (for Xbox games).

@sorrycharlie great idea!! thanks. some of the stuff i saw had little tiny BRU tags on them, but some generic stuff I don't know where it came from and can't find it online-and it wasn't on my registry.

@lydg: koala baby is BRU/TRU...Circo is Target..I think 'especially for baby' is BRU as well. Lol. But def try the shopping barcode app!!

What about playgro? That is the one I am trying to figure out. I got a couple of Carter's things that I know a ton of stores carry that I already have...who should I return to??

I brought things back to Walmart if I noticed that they were on the floor.
If I was smarter, I would have brought more things back. Who needs 50 receiving blankets?!

Ditto! I just got off the phone with my mom and she was asking what I still need. I was telling her about all the stuff I was returning...I probably have over 20 washcloths, SO many receiving blankets/swaddles...like to last a life time! We got 3 play gyms. How does that happen? No one got us our tub or boppy though, so I'm going to get those tomorrow!
