Any tips would be appreciated! I know they probably won’t disappear completely. What products did you use during, after pregnancy?! Thanks!

I hydrated and lotioned up like no other while pregnant and didn't get a single stretch mark until I was 33 weeks pregnant ☹️ so I failed at prevention...
And as much as I hate to admit this (I think most MLMs over sell and under perform), my sister sells It Works, and the stretch mark cream she gave me drastically reduced the visibility of my stretch marks.

I used l'Occitane almond oil with both pregnancies and got 1 stretch mark each. Since I have a ton of stretch marks from puberty, I think it did help minimize them quite a bit. Afterward I continued using the almond oil until it ran out (its a bit $$) and then switched to Bio Oil. My stretch marks are no longer visible except for the fact that the skin there is a bit extra wrinkly.

@cake2017: honestly stretchmarks cant really be prevented. I did everything possible and still got them and some of my friends didn't do anything and dont have them. I think some peoples skin is more predisposed to get them.

@Sams Mom: @Mrsbells: @JennyPenny: Thank you for the information! I plan to look into some of the products listed

I used cocoa butter and didn’t get any stretch marks either pregnancy (number 2 was 9lbs11oz), but to be honest I think it is all hereditary and dependent on your skin.

@cake2017: Bio Oil every night before bed (started 2nd trimester). It does stain, so be careful. It also helped with the itchy belly skin for me.
My doctor said it's mostly genetics, but in terms of prevention, lots of water, exercise, and moisturizing can help.

I did nothing and didn’t get any. It’s genetics. My stomach has always been able to stretch out really big after a big meal for better or worse, I seem to have accordion skin or something.

@Modern Daisy: Same here. I think it's genetic, and there's not really much you can do to prevent them. I never got any, and I had two almost 9 pound babies!

I think it’s mostly genetics but I’m sure that trying to prevent Cant possibly hurt so why not?
First pregnancy I did bio-oil at night and Burt’s Bees Belly Butter during the day. Not a single stretch mark.
My 2nd pregnancy I wasn’t quite as religious about it. But I did either Bio-oil or Loccitane almond oil spray at night. And burts bees or cerave cream during the day. My derm saw one small stretch mark under a magnifying glass when I was like 32 weeks pregnant. Lol. I can’t find it now so it must not have been significant at all.
But had I done nothing who knows?

I just switched from Bio Oil and Boppy belly butter to the Basq oil and lotion they sell at Motherhood Maternity - they were more affordable than some products, and they have 100% made my stomach less itchy, I haven't seen any more stretch marks since I started using them, and I think they have made them look a little less red and angry?

@SweetiePie: Sounds like Bio oil is very helpful! I I moisturize during pregnancy religiously and still got a few! They are very light now so i guess that’s good! Thanks for sharing!
