I POAS at like 5am and then I woke him up by thrusting the pee stick in his face!

first time i POAS on my own. and just told him.. umm.. my period is late! the next morning I POAS with him present. HAHA. (he wanted to wait 5 years before we had a baby.. we had been married 8 months).
second time, i POAS and came out of the bathroom and said "omg.." and he knew.

I POAS by myself, got ready for work, and before I left I woke up hubs to tell him. He congratulated me. LOL.

I got my BFP the Friday before Father's Day, so I gave him a card and inside it I wrote "You're going to be a Daddy!"

We’d gotten to the point where he wanted to know whenever I was going to POAS so that he could be a support for me. However, he didn’t know that I was going to test on the day that I got my BFP. I had actually had him hide my tests because I knew that I couldn’t hold out. I found them and tested secretly on 8DPO after coming home from a Super Bowl party that 3 pregnant friends were at lol. I told him right away and just showed him the test!

I went back to bed and I couldn't tell if he was up. So I asked him if he was awake, he said half asleep half awake, so I just told him I'm pregnant. Not creative at all like I wanted too, but I couldn't wait to tell him.

I POAS stick before work and he had already left. He knew I was going to but neither of us talked about it all day at work. Not really a conversation to have over im. I got home before him and laid out the positive tests (in a ziploc bag) on top of a onsie of his fav baseball team on our kitchen island so that he would see it when he walked in the door.

I POAS super duper early, then I waited til it was time for him to wake up and I brought him coffee in bed, with a stick on top.

I got him a father to be card and wrote June 2012 in it and left it in the bathroom. It was 4am so I got back in bed thinking I would be patient and just wait till he woke up. I was so antsy I told him I wasn't feeling well and asked him to get me some Advil from the bathroom. He woke up all groggy, walked to the bathroom and then suddenly screamed out "Really?!"

He knew when I POAS'd. We both couldn't wait to find out so as soon as it was time, we both went in and turned on the bathroom light and looked. And then we took a picture with the stick as a keepsake.

My husband was away on a fire, so I sent him a picture of the test. Knowing he wouldn't know what it meant, I wrote "It's positive!!!!" LOL

First I gave him a new shirt with a onesie inside that he found when he tried it on.
Second time around, I was showing him a set of pics from a trip I had gone on to see my mom, and the last pic was of the test saying "Pregnant." Both times took a few moments to settle in, but he was really excited. -
First time I told him when he got back home after an exam (didn't want to say anything that morning because he had a final). Second time, I told him I left a present (the test) in the bathroom. Funny man didn't even realize until I sent him back in a second time with the explicit directions to look at the counter. He had no idea I had bought a test, even though he had paid for it at the register the day before!

In the pregnancy I miscarried he was pacing outside the bathroom door, so there was no cute way to tell. When I got pregnant with Emma it was right after our miscarriage and I was too emotional to plan anything elaborate and just told him.

I found out thirty min before DH got home... and had started a fire in the fireplace.... so i didn't have the chance to go out and buy diapers, or any other baby item.
I printed out a pic with EDD and left it with the bfp test on his dresser.

I was crying when he got home from work and he just knew!

He was waiting outside the bathroom door while I POAS. No big reveal there!

He was in the office playing video games and I walked up to him with the HPT and just blurted it out: "I'm pregnant!" hahaha

I sent him an email of a VERY faint positive asking if he could see two lines....and then waited a day and a half for his plane to land - he was on his way to Australia. Two days later with a definitive digital in hand I told him for sure over Skype. I had great dreams of picking him up from the airport with a welcome home Daddy sign, but there was no way I could last two weeks and not tell him!
