I feel like I should wash it with something to get any residual soap out of it but don't want to use harsh cleaning products. What do you use to clean your baby's tub?

Nothing! I rinse it well after each use, but I don't use any detergent on it. If it gets grimy, I just use his baby shampoo. An alternative if you feel you have to wash it is Dr. Bronners.

I don't clean it, but we use it a couple times a day and I only use soap maybe every 5th bath time, so we don't have soap residue.
WAit, now that I think about it, when he poops in the bath I do somewhat clean it, and I use Johnson and Johnson baby wash, because someone gave us a huge bottle of that and I don't actually want to wash my baby with that stuff, so I use it to wash the tub instead!

I use vinegar. Even now that she is in the grown up tub, thats how I clean it. Pour some in, add water, let it soak for a bit, then wipe with a paper towel or sponge and rinse it well. Some else suggested Dr Bronners as well. Ive been looking into that but havent used it yet

I just use her body wash to scrub the tub. Also use vinegar once in a while

Either vinegar or just some of her Cetaphil body wash.

update: was thinking of you and your question this morning:
our baby bathtub is transleucent, and today it was up in the sun and I noticed it actually did have a bit of a grime line, so I washed it, and what I used was the same stuff to wash the dishes (Sunlight brand) and it worked like a charm.

We have spray bottles with a vinegar/water solution in them for daily cleaning. I just spry it done with that and rinse it out.
