I clean mine 2 ways..
1. get a toothbrush, put a small dab or toothpaste on it, and I brush my diamond.
2. soak my ring in warm water+dish washing soap and then brush it with a toothbrush.
I prefer #1 though because it's faster.

I just use one of those jars of cleaner from the jewelry store. I let it soak for 15 minutes or so and then use the little brush. I used to be so good about cleaning it every week - now I'm lucky if I think of it every 3 months or so!

I take it to the jeweler for professional cleaning. You can't soak or scrub an emerald!

I soak in a little bowl with hot water with a few sprays of Windex for 10ish minutes! Try it!

I have jewelry cleaner with a basket so I stick my rings in the container, give it a whirl, then rinse under warm water while using the brush to get any dirt out.

I take it to the jewelry store and they clean it for free. Or I'll use a spray my jeweler gave me and use it with a toothbrush.

Hot water with dish soap and a few spritzes of Windex, then a gentle scrub with a soft toothbrush. But, not very often.

I usually do the hot water with dish soap method every month, but I also have done a wash with vinegar and hydrogen peroxide since one of my rings gives me a rash every so often. This helps to get whatever gunk is stuck in it and the rash magically goes away!

I'm awful, I bring it in riiiiiiight at the 6-month mark (I need to bring it in every 6 months to keep my "warranty" active). I should probably get better with this!

I use an old head from my Sonicare toothbrush and soap and that totally does the trick really nicely! I figure if it can get plaque off my teeth super well, it would work on the grime on my diamond! =D

#2! with a baby toothbrush. I honestly think I do a better job than the jewelers. The one time she used a paper towel to dry it off. !!!!
@ms.janedoe: eek I haven't done that in soooo long.

When I'm at the mall, I drop it off at the jewelers.

Be careful with the the toothpaste, my jeweler said its a no-no for diamonds.
I usually just use hot water and windex.

haha i had never cleaned it until last week! (just over 2 years...) honestly i didn't know you could clean them at home, and never bothered to bring it in. BUT then my friend got a sonic jewelry cleaner and we tried it out: http://www.amazon.ca/s/ref=pd_sl_lirjex3wu_e?ie=UTF8&keywords=sonic+jewellery+cleaner&tag=googcana-20&index=aps&hvadid=15609924582&hvpos=1t2&hvexid=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=17094451402015595674&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e

Jewelry store for free cleaning and check or the little cleaning solution they gave and let it soak, scrub with brush, and it's shiny and new.

toothbrush and water usually. When the platinum gets all dinged up I take it in to be polished by the jeweler.

My moms jeweler told me to soak my rings in warm soapy water using Palmolive dish soap. Then brush with a baby toothbrush and it's all done. But instead I just put some dish soap on the toothbrush and brush it with warm water and rinse. So now I just keep a little bottle of Palmolive dish soap in my bathroom. Eight years later my ring is still super sparkly and I still get compliments about how sparkly it is. Makes me happy.
