We just introduced the potty and this might be a long way away but... how do you clean the potty after a BM? The manual says soap and water but I'm not picturing how that would do a very good job.

Rinse for pee and more rinse for poop with occasional use of a clorox wipe.

@Corduroy: for poops added water to the potty, dumped in the toilet, sprayed with vinegar, rinsed, then wiped with diaper wipe.
We transitioned to the toilet asap because it was the biggest pain cleaning the potty!

Wipe out with TP, Soap and hot water and finally a Clorox wipe at the end of the day.

Dump contents into toilet, use diaper sprayer to rinse, for poop I add a little spray of lysol with bleach that I use only for that purpose.

I used the Flushable wipes if TP wasn't working and then Clorox wipes to disinfect. I was so grossed out by it that we graduated to the seat that goes on the toliet after 2 weeks. Amazon sells liners but they don't look to comfy!

Thanks everyone. I'm glad I asked. LO did poop tonight. DH was just totally stumped by what he should do with the poop.
