My family is a 7 hr drive away and we always FaceTiming. Thank god for technology!

We're fortunate that all of our family lives within an hour from us and we can get together very regularly.

Over the phone for my family. In person for DH's

We do Skype with our immediate family, and the phone for grandparents. We're 2,200 miles away, so I am very thankful for the technology!

Phone or Facebook mostly.

Skype with the inlaws. My parents live about 2.5 hours away. We visit them about every six weeks or so. They visited recently to see LO and assemble his play kitchen.

In person. We live 5 minutes from my mum and maybe 15 minutes from my inlaws. BIL and his wife live 100 miles away but they usually drive up for special occasions - it only takes an hour and a half.

Email and text. If it's REALLY important, we make a personal visit.

Facebook and text with my family. DH is much better at Skyping his.

We are so fortunate to have our family within 30 minutes of us!
