I always do my hair and makeup first while I'm naked.

Then I find whatever is cute but comfortable. If I am feeling lazy that day, I will wear whatever goes best with flats or sandals.

If I am feeling in the mood to dress up, then I pick out my outfit to match the level of makeup I have on and then find whatever shoes go with my clothes.

Clothing. I usually pick a specific top, bottom or dress to start. Then choose.

I usually start with the bottoms and go from there.

I have been so rushed in the mornings, though, that I am planning out 5 days of outfits down to the undergarments and shoes on the weekend. Just Grab and Go.

Clothing. I work in a rehab gym so its deciding which yoga pants and jacket to wear.

I pick an outfit that I won't have to iron. Shoes are whatever go with the outfit. Hair and makeup only happen if I'm lucky. And motivated.

for everyday:
is it relatively clean (i re wear jeans all the time!)?
has it been at least a couple days since i wore it as an outfit?
will it be appropriate for the weather?
would i be okay with it getting vomit/paint/food/nasal mucus on it?
four yeses and it gets worn, bonus points if i can get dressed out of the dryer!

At this point (8 months pregnant) I just grab whatever fits. I've given up trying to look cute...in the 90+ degree heat.

Before, I would usually start with a top or pair of pants and go from there.

I usually just brainstorm while I'm showering. It's summer, and I'm on maternity leave (no baby yet, though), so I'll usually just wear a dress or a top/skirt combo with open toed flats or sandals. I do my makeup and hair while I'm still in a towel, but when it's warm out, I wear minimal cosmetics, and just throw my hair up in a top bun.

i usually get fixated on an item to wear and then find whatever goes with it. today it was my chambray shirt. (a lot of days it's my chambray shirt!!)

@stiletto_mom: what's clean and what fits? I only have a few pairs of shoes, my hair and makeup is the same every day, and I don't accessorize.

I do hair + makeup the same everyday, so I just pick a shirt and know i'm wearing jeans (90% of the time) and then go with whatever shoes match

I pick a color first, then I work around whatever color I picked. It really doesn't go in a particular order...
