Growing up I never ate tuna, but I'd love to get my kids into tuna because they kinda sorta like fish. I like tuna fish sandwiches.
How do you typically eat/prepare it?

Raw. I don't like tuna fish sandwiches much. I'm not a fan of mayo.

Raw or seared for tuna steaks. As a spicy tuna roll.
Canned tuna: with a little bit of mayo and a lot of pickles. My favorite way to have canned tuna is with lemon juice, teeny bit of mayo, onion and sriracha. With chunks of avocado in a salad, or on top of crackers.

I like to put it over pasta with veggies. My favorite is the yellowfin in olive oil from trader joes because the olive oil is great with the pasta.
My husband introduced me to Korean ways of eating tuna, which are also good. Tuna with rice, seaweed, and kimchi. Tuna in kimbap rolls. Yum.
Sometimes I put tuna on a salad.

I buy the canned tuna in olive oil (sometimes you can find it for less expensive in the Italian or Spanish section of the grocery store) and I then make cold pasta salad.

The only way I eat tuna (canned) is in tuna casserole. My mom made it growing up and it is total comfort food (and was the first recipe I learned how to make myself).
