I cut horizontally across the numbers, then cut them up and put pieces in several separate trash cans.

I cut them across the numbers and then into thin strips. The card we use most though actually has us send them back which is nice (I guess?)

We have a shredder that has a slot for CCs

@Mamaof2: I put them through our shredder (it has this capability) and then into the garbage can

I shred them.

@MaryM: Haha - that's what I do too. My hand hurts by the end, but I feel good about it

I cut through the numbers, and then cut through them in the other direction. Then cut through my signature, and then cut through the chip in all different directions. hahaha

I don't have a shredder...

I cut them up into a bunch of tiny pieces and make sure to cut through the #s horizontally.

@pui: I do the same. Then cut the magnet strip into the tiniest pieces possible.
