My 2-year old is too big for sleep-sacks, but he's not good at getting the blankets back on himself. Sometimes we're not able to put blankets on him at all because he stands in his bed protesting us leaving.
How do you keep your LO warm at night?

Long sleeved pajama sets and socks, even in the Summer. We keep the air on 73 at night and he kicks off all blankets.

In the summer she is still in long sleeve PJs and pants. In the winter she will be in fleece probably.

I was curious about this too, and wondering when they start pulling the blankets back on. Ha.

T is only 13 months, but I have one of these:
Schlummersack Winter Baby Sleep Sack Wearable Blanket Long Sleeves approx. 3.5 Tog - Forest Friends - 6-18 months/MEDIUM https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OKW83MQ/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_Zfe5xbRJHZTQ2
They come in big sizes, plenty big for 2 year olds. I will probably continue using it until he will keep a blanket on. It's like a wearable comforter and T sleeps SO WELL in it. I wish I could keep the house cool enough to use it year round!

My kids wear a layer of merino wool and usually manage to stay under their bedding.

I just posted about this in another thread but my daughter wears a winter hat, mittens, and slippers to bed (even in the summer lol). When it's cold I put her in fleecy Carter's zip up pjs- they are pretty warm but also breathable. You can layer regular pjs underneath if it's super cold.

Are you sure he's too big for sleep sacks? E has always been in the 95-98% in height/weight and he was in halo sleepsacks until we transitioned to a toddler bed at 2.5. There were still bigger sizes than what he was currently wearing. I think the ones with openings for the feet go up to like 4t.
