I used my immersion blended and it was absolutely awesome. Quick and easy with minimal clean up.

I have a baby cuisinart. It steams and then purees all in the same bowl. I know I didn't need it, but I love how easy it is! Only one thing to clean

Steam or roast, then blender or food processor depending on how smooth/textured I want it.

Steam, food processor and then freeze into 1 oz cubes. I got these Tovolo ice cube trays and they came in so handy when making purees: http://www.amazon.com/Tovolo-80-12002-Perfect-Cube-Trays/dp/B0052AIWW6/ref=sr_1_5?s=kitchen&srs=2602539011&ie=UTF8&qid=1383536526&sr=1-5&keywords=tovolo+ice+cube

Ok, my steamed and blended carrots were really gritty...how can I smooth it out? I added water but it didn't do much.

Steam/ bake. Use immersion blender for small batches or the vitamix for large batches to freeze.

I had the Beaba. It really fit our lifestyle well (no freezer space for big batches).
