how do you postathon?

I always forget its postathon night and then ask a question that I really need answers to and it gets shuffled down the mix and forgot about. So I try and avoid postathon night.

I thought postathons were kept to the sticky at the top of the boards?
I usually miss out on postathons. It's only 1pm here (2pm since daylight savings time) when postathons start. I don't have time to be on the computer outside of naptime during the day and posting from my phone isn't as easy.

@.twist.: @pastemoo: A postathon is when we gather on HB and just post and comment like crazy. A Hellobee online party, if you will. It's fun!

@anonysquire: for real?!?! I always find that my threads get lots of replies on postathon nights, hence the list to start topics
sometimes I save my topics for postathons.@.twist.: @pastemoo: everyone gets on HB at the same time (Thursdays at 7 EST) and we all post and comment lots and lots
it's great fun! Lots of HBers are on at the same time. Like I said - I sometimes save certain topics until postathon night cause I know I will most likely get more replies @Sweet T: There is an official sticky that is the official postathon thread - however the postathon also means that the hostesses, the bees and whoever else, post as many topics as they can
it's a great way to keep the hive hopping.

When I'm hosting I'll think of threads throughout the week and write them down in my phone's "notes."
On non hosting nights I'll usually comment on threads and start threads if anything comes to mind.

@anonysquire: i know what you mean about threads getting lost because there is so much traffic. I haven't started too many threads but the ones on postathon night seem to get lost..

I had no idea that's what a postathon was, I thought it was just the thread at the top that you converse over. Good to know, I know where I'll be spending my Thursdays after LO is in bed

I still feel like a postathon is to up the counts. I feel like people ask some fluff questions on those nights.

I have trouble keeping up on the chattier threads--takes me 30-45 minutes to keep up! -
