Now that LO is almost one, he has a stubborn streak that is coming out. He is almost impossible to get dressed in the morning, he flails his arms, cries, arches his back. It's awesome. LOL. I have to keep telling myself to be patient, but it can be sooooo frustrating. How do you keep your cool during temper tantrums?

Subscribing. My LO is obsessed with these wooden blocks lately, so it seems that if he is holding them, then the world is a better place and he might - just MIGHT - tolerate a diaper change.

@littlek: "it's awesome." Yup. I'm there with you. Know what is also awesome? When she decides she doesn't want to be on the floor anymore. Nowhere is better than in her mom's arms, whether I am cooking over a hot stove or peeing. If I don't hold her? Flailing and whining and following me...then flopping. Oh yeah.

I tried everything. What worked is singing a dress up song, to the tune of the wheels on the bus.
The socks on the bus go on the feet, lol.

We always have to put something in her hands for diaper changes now or she goes nuclear. We give her her toothbrush, blocks, her socks, anything that will stop the crying and screaming. And when she doesn't like the object you give her she throws it. It actually makes us both laugh to see her little temper.
