LO2 is 10 weeks and we're having a lot of trouble with sleep. LO1 was a terrible sleeper - for the first two months, LO1 only slept on me, nursing to sleep- for naps and nighttime. Around 2 months, I tried the miracle blanket and that allowed me to nurse LO down at bedtime and once LO was in deep sleep, I could move him to our co-sleeper where he would sleep for the first stretch of the night. LO2 is exactly the same in the sleep department, however I cannot get her down at night by herself at all! It is killing me. She will be swaddled, in a dark room, with white noise, and when I try to move her to the co-sleeper she wakes within one minute. It doesn't matter how deep of a sleep she is in. I really need to have some time in the evenings to keep our household functioning but I can't get her to bed without me. I've just been going to bed with her around 7 but it's starting to become unsustainable... I've tried rocking/bouncing her to sleep instead of nursing and she still wakes up as soon as I try to set her down.
How do you put your infant down for bed? Am I just screwed?
