For my cats, I refer to myself as Mama. I think this stems from DS calling me mom, and he'll say to them, "Go see Mama."
But, the dogs...I refer to myself as Katie. I think it's because they were DH's before we met, even though Riley was just a puppy. Even so, when DS says "Mom", they know who he's talking about.

I call myself mommy. Our pup was also DH's when we met, I considered him mine when I moved in with DH, and when we got married I was officially his mommy

We're mom and dad. Or mama and daddy, lol.
Our neighbours tell their dog "go see Nicholas" or "go see "Lindsay" instead of mom and dad and I think its odd!

I'm Mama to our pets, and DH is Pop-pop similar to Papa, but I just call him Pop-pop, don't ask!

We are Mommy and Daddy. At first DH wasn't Daddy since I got the dog shortly before we got together. But over time as he got more attached we started calling him that.

We go by our first names with our dog because I adopted him when I still lived at home so my mom is "mama".

I go back and forth between mom or my first name. DH is just his first name. I got the dog before we even lived in the same city. I actually got him when I lived with my sister so we always said he had two mommies.

Mama and Dad, I think DH started it by referring to me as that. @allison: I'm also a little embarrassed by it, since we don't have kids yet

But generally we say "mommy" and "daddy." My parents are "grandma" and "grandpa." Mind you I have no human children yet....

Mommy and Daddy. The grandparents first chose their nicknames when we got our dog! she was the honorary first "grandchild".

Mommy/momma & Daddy....it did not start out that way but as the baby fever gets more & more out of control the more I find myself calling myself his momma!
