I have professional quality acetone that I prefer to use when I do paint my nails. It takes the polish off really quickly.

With my teeth and then acetone.
(Seriously... I'm such a biter, I don't even realize I'm doing it. Once I start, i just take it all off with acetone so I'll stop picking at it.)

Nail polish remover and cotton balls. I ran out of cotton balls recently and tried using Kleenex, toilet paper, & paper towels. None worked! I had no idea how important cotton balls were. Lol

I usually use acetone... can't stand chipped polish (although it's looking pretty icky right now)

I soak a cototm ball in nail polish remoer, let it sit on the nail for 30 seconds or so, then wipe it off. Usually after its started chipping away.

I take off all my polish if I get one chip on my fingers. I don't like the chipped look.
I also soak the cotton ball with remover and let it sit on the nails, it comes off much easier that way, especially the darker colors.

I have worn nail polish in a long time but I would usually just use nail polish remover. The only time i used pure acetone was after our wedding when I got arylic nails done. I hated them!

When it starts looking nasty at the edges I use a cotton pad and either nail polish remover or pure acetone (if it's a dark or glittery polish).

I remove it the same as @Alivoo01. My nails get pretty embarrassing!
