The other thread got me thinking, am I the only one that keeps them in the fridge?
I like them cold and crisp. They are too soft on the counter.

I also keep them in the fridge! I like crisp apples though. I only ever leave fruit on the counter when I want to soften it up for LO.

@Smurfette: I like them cold too!!
No need to put them in the crisper though. They don't last long...

I always put them in the fridge. The only fruits that I keep out are bananas and pears.

Depends on the type of apple, but usually the apples I get are ripe enough, so in my fruit bowl (at room temperature) they go.
Also, I have this aversion to cold foods, so I prefer RT foods over cold foods.

In a plastic bag (so they don't ripen anything else), in the fridge! They last longer cold anyway.
ETA: We once bought a giant box of apples (maybe it was a bushel?) from our favorite orchard and they told us to store it in a cold, dark place to make the apples last as long as possible.
