My MIL runs a daycare and one of her moms has three boys and is not planning to have any more children. She gifted all of her baby clothes to us for free. We received 6 boxes of awesome clothes and I couldn't be more thankful. I don't really know this person but would like to do something to say thank you. Does anyone have any ideas how we could thank her?

Very generous! I would write a very nice note and maybe send a little something - flowers?

A note would probably be enough, but flowers are a nice gesture too!

Perhaps a gift card? A friend of mine did that when I handed down all of my maternity clothes to her. It was such a nice surprise and totally unwarranted but still very appreciated. She asked my husband where I liked to shop and got a gift card to my favorite store.

I would write a nice thank you card and then maybe a gift card if you know the woman personally. If you don't know her, perhaps you could give some kind of gift to your MIL's daycare so her kids can enjoy it.
