I have a few birthdays coming up for my LO's baby friends and Janie and Jack has some cute things on sale. How does J&J run in terms of size? True to age, bigger, smaller?

I think it runs big. LO grew out of most of her 3-6 month stuff by 4.5 months, but the J&J romper we had still fit at 5.5 months.

oh noooo! All conflicting! One baby in question is a couple pounds bigger than my LO but just 3 days older. If her first Birthday is July, will 12-18 months be okay for summer? Would I do 18-24 for winter?

I definitely think most of their pieces run large, some run huge. None of our J&J items have been smaller than other brands. LO is 24 months, 23lbs and has a beautiful J&J dress she just wore to a wedding that was 12-18m sized - and was big on her. She is nowhere close to fitting into any of the 2T items she has, but wears 24m/2t in other brands.

Big. Except onesies or one pieces I found those ran smaller. We have a lot of Janie and Jack and it is definitely not smaller than Carter's or gap - could be on par with Hanna Anderson.

Big. LO is 17 months, 22-ish lbs, 31 inches and she wears the 12 - 18, all the 18 to 24 I have for her is too big. I would think what you are thinking size wise for summer and winter would be fine.

Big. We have a couple of skirts and a dress from there and they are all big on her.

Big to huge. LO has always run several months ahead in sizes, but the Janie and Jack fit her when it was 'supposed to'. However, we were also gifted a 3-6 month dress that didn't fit her until 10 months!

I think the smaller sizes (NB, 0-3) ran large. After that, I found them to run smaller than Carters and comparable to Baby Gap or Gymboree. (The latter makes sense since it's the same company.)
