She rolls around, wakes up and it's mommy! daddy! right away like lets get off this bed and downstairs and get this party started.

If she wakes up grumpy I know that means she needs to go back to sleep.

Naps... She usually wakes up kind of confused? She is happy but then she needs some "space" for a while hahaha.

He likes to come have a cuddle in our bed before getting up.

After naps he is usually grumpy and clingy to me.

She yells for us, DH gets her and dumps her into our bed, she nurses for a good while, then when she's done she pops up like a prairie dog and it's off to the races. If we're lucky she asks for a book and I hand her one from the stack on my nightstand and that buys us a few more minutes of lazing. Otherwise she'll crawl onto DH or she might be off to the bottom of the bed to pet the dog and call the other dog, slide off the bed and march off to who knows where. (At that point I get up and direct her to the changing table.)

T used to wake up slowly and quietly, often sitting in his crib for a good 30-45 min before making any noise. But lately he's been waking up screaming. I hate it and it takes a bit to settle him down. I wish I knew what was going on.

O usually wakes up talking! She only is 14 months but she has a lot of words so often she wakes up saying "doggie, kitty, doggie, kitty" over and over.

DS1 usually takes a little bit of time. Sometimes he talks to his animals in bed. Other times he just looks around for 5-10 minutes. Then he's raring to go.

DS2 usually hops right up and starts trampoline jumping in his crib. He's a ball of energy, that one.

Happy! If he wakes up crying it's because he needs more sleep or something is very wrong (sick or in pain). It's pretty rare for him to wake up crying or grumpy.
He also likes to chill in the crib for a while. I could leave him for an hour after he wakes up and he'd be totally cool. I usually leave him for a half hour to make sure he's fully awake and ready to play.

I usually have to go in and wake her up, and she'll roll over and say "Hi, mommy!" and then usually points out and names all her stuffed animals. Sometimes she jumps right up and wants to come out of her crib, other times she'll roll around a bit. Usually if I offer to pick her up for a snuggle, she'll accept and then we head downstairs together.

She wakes up and likes to play in her crib with her doll for 20-30 minutes, either before we go in or with us sitting in the chair. She gets mad if we pull her out before she's done! This is pretty new though, for most of her life she woke up screaming.

My youngest wakes up ready to go, my oldest tends to take longer and I have to be careful with what I say to her in the morning. She is not a morning person!

Weston wakes up laughing - literally the other night he woke me up at 4am with a "ha HA!" B wakes up gruuuuumpy, especially from naps. He usually needs a half hour before he's human.
