DD has started to protest at bedtime but they are full fledged crying and tantrums! Is that what protesting is?

Mine just says "no bathtime!" "no jah-jah!"
No tantrums though. I'd say your LO is protesting! -
Mine starts crying at the sound of water running, and runs in the opposite direction! She doesnt protest bedtime though, thank god!!

My LO has been protesting bedtime for months. I'm exhausted.

He just stays up for forever.

He cries when I take him out of the bath and cries til we sit in his rocker to read.

Mine dumps the water out of the tub.
But now I realized he wants to sit on the toilet before he goes in for his bath and take off his own clothing. So we do that first and blow dry his hit after... He lives the dryer.

She does the back fling, goes limp when we try to pick her up, and cries.

C screams unless we allow her to stand up in the bath, so one of us hold her while the other washes. She's been going through a phase of crying at bedtime, but it *might* be starting to get better.
She's 16 months.

DD is 3yo and just keeps finding things that she needs rather than going to bed: potty, water, etc. She has no objections to bathtime (except for not wanting to get out of the tub) and tries to convince me every night that she needs a bath because her feet are dirty.
DS is 10.5m and is just now starting to like bathtime, previously he'd scream from the time he went into the water until he came out.
