Olive has a cold with a temp of 100.4. I don't consider giving Tylenol unless the fever is at least over 101. I had to nosefrida her and she's congested, but I don't think she needs Tylenol yet. I'll just keep an eye on her and see if her temp goes up.
When do you give Tylenol/Advil?

Anything above 100 is when I start to give Tylenol--I just get worried because LO's temps can spike so quickly. I try the luke warm bath first though. I hope Olive feels better soon

Over 100 and if she's feeling really bad or if it has been over 100 for a couple hours we will give medicine.

I've only given my LO Tylenol only a couple of times. The last time she got some was when she had roseola and a 103 temperature. If her temp is lower than 101 I'll just put cold compresses on her neck and head and keep her hydrated.

I use the 100.4/38.0 cut off... And I don't usually use Advil until 6 months old even though it seems to work better for us

her temp ended up going up to 101.1 shortly after i wrote this post so i ended up giving her tylenol. she was fussy and it helped her sleep better. she didn't wake up with a fever this morning though thank goodness!

I've never had to give DD tylenol for a fever. Crazy. She is 12 months, almost 13. knock on wood. I would say over 100 I would

We only give medicine if he seems to be uncomfortable, which is usually over 101. It definitely helps him sleep better. We usually give ibuprofen rather than tylenol. So glad Olive woke up fever-free!!!!

Luckily LO has never had a fever so we haven't had to deal with it yet. Hope Olive feels better soon!
