My husband and I were pretty much on the same page, but he leaned a little more on the med free side of things. I said when he has the baby we can talk about his options ;). He was fabulous through it all!

Dh was for whatever I wanted to do. When I wanted to go natural he was supportive. When I said F it gimme drugs!! He was supportive as well

My husband supports practically anything I say in the pregnancy-birth area because he knows that I've done the research and I know what I'm talking about. Which is a relief, cause some of the things I want most husbands would balk at.

DH was really supportive and said he'd support whatever I wanted as long as its safe for both baby and I. I pushed hard for natural birth at a birthing center and he only asked that the backup option is available in case I needed it. The birthing center we chose was inside a hospital, which worked out because I ended up needing an emergency c-section. However I think things will be different next time around. He was really scared throughout my 16+hours of labor at the birthing center because they mostly left us alone, which I wanted but he didnt realize that would be the setup. He felt like something could have gone wrong and it was just us. He's already spoken up and said next time, we're doing hospital and regular OB. He said I can still do natural birth but in no way can it be same setting where he is left alone. We also have to factor in that I've had a c-section so need to find a doc that advocates VBAC. We shall see when the time comes!

He supported whatever I wanted.

DH ultimately said it's up to me, but doesn't really support the natural birth thing. It's ok because I'm not anti-epidural, but I don't want to get the epidural too early either. Even though he says "just get the epidural" I know he will support me if I"m in pain! I think me being in that much pain sort of freaks him out too!

We both wanted the same things but he said either way it was my descision.

@artbee: Oh, Fritz???? My mom and I wanted to strangle him!!!

DH and I have not discussed this, but if he pulls a Fritz on me- we're going to have a problem!!

The first time DH was very supportive of my choices and didn't really offer up any alternatives/objections to what I wanted. This time however, he has been more open about suggesting maybe we should look into natural but still plan on what I want. He wants us to be prepared just in case.

He did ask if we'd have to sit through the all day class again and I told him only if he wanted to, he does not (doesn't like needles and had to close his eyes for the epidural video).

My DH wanted to do whatever it was that I wanted. He was very much "its your body you do whatever you want/need to bring our baby into the world." I don't think I would want him to have a lot of say since it's not him going through the pain. I do like his input, but I want the final decision.

My DH doesn't care what so ever. One thing he does feel strongly about is having a hospital birth. One of my very good friends had a home birth, and DH feels strongly against it. I am fine with that, I mean I was there with my friend and it was awesome that she was in her own house, but I totally understand where DH is coming from, and I think I would personally feel safer in a hospital as well.

If my husband ever had an opinion about my chosen birth methods, he's never told me about them. Which is probably a good thing for him >:-)

DH let me decide. The only thing he probably wouldn't have gone for was a home birth, but that was never on the table anyway.

None at all, which he didn't have a choice anyway.
