Is it just clothes hanging up, or do you also have shelves under that, or a cubby organizer? Something else?

Dresses and nicer outfits/sets are hanging. We have a hanging shelf thing that we had burb cloths and swaddles. Drawers are socks, pjs, pants, shorts, and shirts. We have shoes in a hanging shoe organizer that is behind her door.

Thanks! We are limited on space, so I want to try to use up whatever room I can/remain organized. Hanging baby clothes are so short, so I always wondered what people did with the space below.

@MrsKMM: I have LO's laundry hamper below hey clothes, and since we're in a small house right now I also have my vacuum cleaner in there lol. On top I have shelves where I store the toys and books I don't currently have out for her.

We actually have a dresser in her closet. I hang up dresses, sweaters, rompers & nicer tops. Then have socks, hats, onsies, pants & PJ's in the dresser. Also have a hanging shoe organizer which I use to store towels, shoes & other random stuff.

they both have dressers and share a tiny closet for hanging things. olive has a little ikea wardrobe and no closet and i was going to hang stuff in it, but she has more foldable clothes so i think i'm just going to have to put in more drawers.

I have dresses and sweaters hung. I have a 6 drawer dresser. 2 are storage. Newborn clothes have a drawer. 0-3 month one pieces in another, other 0-3 month clothes in another drawer. 3-6 in another. 6+ in storage bins.

@MrsKMM: below the clothes I keep diapers and wipes from the boxes (we buy at Costco) that aren't out in the dresser yet. Then a tub for clothes to add when she outgrows (have a tub for each size). Then her suitcase is in there as well.

Clothes are hanging - rompers, longalls, jon jons, jackets/sweatshirts, sleepers, etc. Onesies/shirts and pants are in his dresser. We have a 4-cube Ikea kallax that holds extra diapers and wipes (we do Honest so we get a giant box every month), some extra toys, shoes, etc. We also have one of those hanging organizers that I use as a mini "linen closet" within his closet where I keep swaddle blankets, changing pad covers, extra sheets, etc.

We have two hanging rows for clothes and a shelf in the middle. I have a clear tote box and that's where I keep some of her swimsuits, tights, pants, pajamas, etc, that I don't hang up. All her shirts, skirts, and dresses are hung up. I also have a tall lingerie dresser that I keep some pants in.

Clothes he's currently wearing go into his dresser. Clothes that are too big/he'll grow into are hung up in his closet. His closet is itty bitty. so it works well for us.

@MrsKMM: Olivia has one of those closet hangers. There are two sections at the top for hanging, and each side has a few shelves at the bottom.

DD1 - Just hung up clothes and put stuff below like shoes, storage. the rest is in a dresser in her room.
dd2: I put in a bookshelf to store items in the empty space and then hungup some clothes.
I like it so much I think I'm going to do the same in DD1, use the space more efficiently.
