DD is 2.5 yo now and does really well on play dates. She's old enough to do more than parallel play so I feel like she gets a lot out of them at this age. Plus, she's much better at sharing now, too.

playdates are so easy as the kids get older. charlie pretty much plays with his friends, and olive is so much more independent as a second child that we don't need to play with her when we're on a playdate. playdates are great!

@Mrs. Bee: totally! They were kinda a lot of work when the kids were younger, but a ton more fun now.
