My T zone is usually on the oily side but lately I'm getting dry patches on top of the oily parts. I drink a lot of water and I'm using a thicker cream and I still have these patches! Ahhhhh!
How is your skin right now? Do you get dry skin when the weather gets colder?

My skin is usually the same through the seasons. The only thing that changes is my lips. I get horrible, horrible chapped lips during this time of the year. DH pointed it out this morning. It annoys me. I have to go get EOS lip balm to help and use straws to drink water.

Mine's been not great ever since I went off the pill in April. I never had oily skin before. I guess it has gotten better since it got cold though, so that's good. And my lips get super chapped, I have to use Carmex or some strong stuff like that.

@BabyBear: My lips are AWFUL too. It's so bad. I hate it--I have some fancy Chanel lipsticks I want to wear, but I can't!
Anyway, my skin is surprisingly...ok. I just went off BCP so I was expecting for it to explode into a mess, but (knocks on wood!) so far I've been alright! That being said, I do have reeeeally dry skin in the winter.

The skin on my body is absolute shit right now. I came down with a rare disorder and while it's totally benign, it has an ugly appearance on my chest, back, my underarms, and my stomach. Thankfully it's winter and nobody can see!

@Foodnerd81: bad skin here too due to being off the pill. Just finished nursing not that long ago and have to switch to a different pill, and haven't been able to get a prescription for my usual pill. I feel like a teenager with horrible hormonal acne...

My skin is really dry right now, especially on my face and hands!
@blackbird: I feel your pain. I had a terrible skin rash at the end of the summer. My doc said there was nothing that could be done but wait it out. I was miserable for a few weeks. The only thing that helped was cool oatmeal baths and laying out in the sun. It eventually faded, but when I get hot I have red patches in the same spots.

My face is very oily and the skin on my body is so dry... I have little red itchy patches all over! I've increased my water intake, and I'm trying to be more diligent about using lotion right after I shower. Not sure what to do about my face though!

My face is breaking out as of a couple of days ago and I feel gross! Have been covering up like crazy since I can't use any of my good acne meds.

@leialou, yup that's what mine told me to do--wait it out. the only thing that may help is a bunch of heavy duty antibiotics. I can't have them until i'm done breastfeeding, so i have to live with it. I've had it for months now, but it keeps spreading.

I'm enjoying my pregnancy skin. A lot of people compliment me on my glow. My skin is usually clear, but with pregnancy it really does radiate. I love it!

@HeatherlovesKenny: i can't wait to outgrow acne! maybe by the time i turn 30... hahaha. worrying about acne and wrinkles is just sad, but alas, that's where i'm at!
mine is miserable right now. making an adjustment to the weather change =( it's super dry & flakey, but since i switched moisturizers to fix that, it's breaking out until it gets used to it. also i have a golf ball sized circle of eczema on my leg, which sucks because i don't want to shave over it because i'm afraid it will make it worse, but i don't want to have hairy legs either, haha. best skin ever!

My skin is nuts right now! I went off the pill a little over a month ago. I feel like a greaseball. So gross. And it's such a contradiction--greasy all over, but a dry patch between my eyebrows! EEEK!

@mrs. bird: I'm 32 and the acne still hasn't gone away! My jawline has been horrible for the last 20 months after going off the pill 
I've recently started taking 2 fish oil pills a day and it's been helping the acne a bit, but hasn't gone away... I did this 8 years ago when I had bad acne and the fish oil REALLY helped. Not as effective this time...

Dry and gross! Ever since I got pregnant it's been going a little crazy... first I broke out more, so I switched to a more gentle cleanser... and now my T-zone is horribly dry! I moisturize with tea tree oil lotion every night and it's not helping

@sweetchic: omg, what is up with that?!? I never remember breaking out around my jawline, I used to get them like near my nose or chin, but since going off BC a year & a half ago, I breakout like below my jawline even! they seem to be so much lower on my face and not lil superficial ones, but the the deep kind that hurt. Miserable. And you're not supposed to use any of the good stuff to get rid of them while TTC. Maybe I'll try your fish oil trick. It can't hurt & it's good for you!

I have dry skin through all the seasons. Nothing noticeable but I always need lotion on my hands, I think for my own comfort and I always use lotion after I shower...if I don't I feel nasty dry.

My skin is SO bad. Ever since I got pregnant it has been horrendous and even now, 2 months postpartum, it's terrible. Nothing is helping and I'm starting to wonder if some spots are getting infected... not good!

My legs get so so so dry in the winter. I think we might need to start running a humidifier other than our furnace soon.
