Lo just turned two and she's very picky about what she wears so I wanted it to be something she loves. She loves tutus so I knew that had to be part if her costume to guarantee that she'll wear it.

This is the first year he really wants to choose at 4.

@MsLipGloss: haha I really want my kids to wear pumpkin costumes every year. Until theyre out of the house. haha! We have 2 years of pumpkin patch photos so far. I can't wait to take pics of both kids in pumpkin costumes this year!

@artbee: she was Pocahontas and I remember having to hold her down to wear it kicking and screaming. The next year she picked a dinosaur costume so she was more than happy to wear it all the time.

Times like this I wish Halloween is more popular where we're at. The only people you ever see dressed up are college kids walking to a function and it's never actually on Halloween and no one ever trick-or-treats.

But our Easter is kind of like Halloween. Kids dress up like witches and asks for candy. So I guess she'll be a witch each year, plus whatever costume I get for Halloween (that she can wear later that year to kid parties).

charlie was almost 3 last year and let us pick (he was an astronaut because i got it for free).

i think we will let him pick this year since he's almost 4. he has said he wants to be a pumpkin (probably because of his favorite halloween book), so i hope he does... but if he sees superhero costumes, all bets are off!
