It took about 2 hours tonight... Charlie was going to go down pretty quickly, but just as he was about to fall asleep he had to pee. Then I got him ready again, and he had to poop. Then I washed him off and got him ready again, and he finally went down.

I miss the days that bed time felt more predictable! But at the same time, bedtime has really improved in the past few weeks (less tantrums, etc.) and so I am grateful for that.

I guess I have to be grateful for what I have, rather than wishing I had it all! Ah, the dream: a toddler that doesn't throw tantrums, gives his parents a sweet goodnight kiss and then goes down to sleep quickly and easily. This is totally possible to achieve consistently, right? Right??
