I went off the pill four months early to prepare, first cycle trying we had awful timing (Dh away for two weeks), so it was the second cycle where we actually tried and were in the same time zone. Very lucky.

I went off the pill in June 2012 and bam, KU, sadly that ended in miscarriage. Now that I'm emotionally ready again we are actively trying. I say that because I have PCOS and between the miscarriage Sept-Dec I wasn't ovulating and now we are working with a RE. So technically only a couple of cycles.

Still going at 15 months

NTNP for a few months. Gearing up for our 9th cycle of actively trying.

8 active cycles of trying after an early mc. (16 months total after the mc).

Wnent off BC in Oct (after many years)...NTN at that point...BFP Dec 22...happened crazy fast especially considering I traveled for 2.5 weeks for work between Thanksgiving and Christmas!

Technically it was my 2nd cycle of trying (cycles were 60+ days...).

We started NTNP by January 2012 and were through our move at the end of May. But we worked opposite schedules so literally we had VERY FEW opportunities lol. It kind of transitioned into trying, I know the first cycle I tracked was October, so I guess that's four cycles, the 4th (January) we got pregnant thanks to Metformin! Currently 20 1/2 weeks!

I must've o'd on our wedding night cuz we were ntnp and got a bfp 2 weeks later... ended in m/c, took 2 months off and got our bfp 4 months later... I'm 15 weeks. :))

I stopped BC in December 2011 and we got pregnant in May 2012. But of 6 cycles, the first one I didn't really consider a "cycle" because it was more like withdrawal bleeding, and the second one, I tried to time it correctly but we didn't end up DTD at the right time. Everything was also all over the place because I had recently stopped BC.

Then in February we put trying on hiatus because I found out that an STD plan was going to become available to me at work effective April. We had previously planned to dig into savings during my maternity leave, but knowing we would have at least part of it paid for if we waited was kind of a no-brainer. The first cycle after the STD plan kicked in we REALLY tried, and we got pregnant.

I consider us very fortunate and I'm quite grateful.

#1 took 11 months

#2 we are at 6 months, but some months have been NTNP, I haven't been in a rush this time.

Over a year with our first. It wasn't until we started charting. Our second was a surprise.

Went off birth control last June and started trying right away. Got pregnant on 2nd cycle in August and had a mc at 7 weeks. Got pregnant again 2 cycles after mc in November. Took 5 months, 5 cycles. I was actively charting, using OPKs etc.

1st try of NTNP.

Second cycle of trying, but I had stopped bcp's 10 months prior to getting pregnant. At first we were NTNP then when I realized I wasn't even ovulating we starting seeing a fertility doctor who tested us for months before finally starting us on clomid. The first cycle was cancelled due to hurricane sandy and teh second cycle on a higher dosage worked!
