I had/ am having an early miscarriage and have been spotting for a week....but truly bleeding since Saturday. It's Thursday. I thought it would be done by now, since I was pretty early along.
How long should I expect to bleed?

Mine was like a really heavy long period. I don't remember how long exactly, but it was considerably longer than normal

Thanks ladies. Been through one before and I remember it lasting a week but that was 4.5 years ago so can't totally remember.

The bleeding of a miscarriage paired along with cramping and pain is just so unfair. Adding insult to injury. I feel for you

Mine was like a slightly longer period. Normal is about 5-6 days, so the early m/c was maybe 7-8. I'm sorry you're going through this.

I was around 5 weeks, but my cycles are longer. In 2010 I didn't know I was pregnant and was bleeding for ~12 days then passed huge clots which made me realize, OMg I think I'm having a miscarriage, I've never had a period this long. Went to the dr and I still had some hcg so it was a miscarriage. I think I bled for about 3 weeks total.

I'm so sorry that you and your DH are going through this.
I bled for about 8-9 days from my early MC (6 weeks).

I'm so sorry I also bled for about a week, but it was on and off a bit.

Sorry about your loss my CP in March I bled heavily for 4 days (typical aF is 2-3 days light bleeding) and spotted more heavily than typical for af for 2 days before and 2 days after. Hope it's over for you soon.

I'm sorry for your loss!
I bled for a couple of weeks, the last few days just spotting.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss and prolonged bleeding. I bled for about 10-12 days, and it was because I had an incomplete miscarriage. When this was discovered at my follow-up scan, I had to take misoprotol to "finish" the process. Please consider asking your OB to give you an ultrasound soon-ish to see if the MC is complete.... Prolonged bleeding is not good, in many ways

Sorry for your loss. I don't recall exactly but I think it was around 11-12 days. Like a long period.

So sorry to hear this hope you're doing ok. I bled for 5 days on and off, it tapered off soon after I passed some tissue (sorry if TMI). There was cramping leading up to that. Then 6 weeks later I finally got AF.

Sorry for your loss. Mine didn't lasted almost a week. I spotted for a day or two then heavy bleeding/ passing the tissue for another two days and then brown blood for another day or two. I only felt cramping on the heavy days.

Thanks ladies. My doc is having me come for repeat blood work on Tuesday anyways so hopefully the bleeding will be done then and my levels will be down to 0.

I'm sorry hon. During my MC at about 6 weeks I bleed for almost two weeks. I thought it was tapering down after the first week, but them it got thicker and darker.
