I don't think my 15.5 month old is ready to potty train, but I am considering getting her a potty because she has been very interested in my bathroom habits and telling me when she goes potty. (Really, just #2 - she says, "Poo poo," after she poops.)

I was thinking we'd just sit it in her bathroom and she could sit on it when I go, and before bath, and if she does end up going in it, we'll get excited. That's it. Then, we'd save the "real" potty training for several months down the road.

Is that a good idea or is it better to introduce the potty and no more diapers at the same time?
