I practiced skin to skin almost exclusively the entire first week of LO's life. He's 6 weeks old and we aren't ever skin to skin now except when we bathe or shower together, which he loves!
I think I stopped around week 3 just because I was wanting to be dressed like a normal person.

my lo is a month in a couple of days 7 I guess we still do it? I'm in tx & it's hot enough that when we're home she's mostly in her diaper & I walk around in just my underwear a lot, ha. so whenever she feeds or I'm walking around holding her, we're skin to skin. once it gets a little hotter, though, that's going to have to stop b/c I'm not all about sweating all over each other.

We didn't do too much skin to skin.. :T It's definitely something I would have liked to do more, but LO and I were both so hot and sweaty for the first few weeks of her life.

In the hospital? I didn't realise you were supposed to do it beyond the few hours after delivery. oops.

I didn't do it either.

I did it for a while. But then I finally had to stop because for some reason my milk refused to dry up when we did skin to skin, and I was sooooo sick of leaking!

Did it often at the hospital for 4-5days... Now, at a week and 2 days, only when they're fussy and I can't figure out what's wrong...
