I am dying to take a steaming hot bath but I forgot to ask at my two week check up if I was all cleared to soak in the tub. What did your doctor say? I am willing to risk it tonight since my back is killing me. I am almost four weeks pp. Thanks!

Do your hospital discharge papers say anything about it? I took a bath 3 days pp but I didn't have a c-section so I'm not sure what the rule is.

I was told 6 weeks.

I was swimming 3-4 weeks post c-section. I'm trying to figure out what would be bad about taking a bath....

I was told to wait 6 weeks as well.

They told me 2 weeks. Go for it, it will feel so good.

I was told six weeks. I'm at 3.5 weeks pp and would love to be able to take a hot bath. Argh!

I was told (and waited) 6 weeks. They wanted the incision to sta as dry as possible.
