We've started not changing pee diapers in the middle of the night... but if bedtime is around 8, and he wakes up at 7 or 8AM, that seems a long time. So we'll usually change it before midnight when he's up for a feeding... how long do you go?

We go all night and use Pampers baby dry diapers. He's almost 4 months and we've been doing this since around 3 months.

All night (11+ hours). I switched to Pampers Extra Protection on a suggestion from here, and they work great!

We don't, honestly. We cloth diaper and i stick a Thirsties hemp insert in there. I know it seems like a long time, but i slather her in cream

@blackbird: I would love to know what cream you are using, I tried GroVia's Magic stick but it didn't help much. I use calmoseptine when I put her in a disposable but that seems like the fastest way possible to ruin a diaper.
I wish I had an answer to this but only recently has she stopped pooping at night and I am still changing her at least once because I fear rashes.

We don't. DS sleeps a good 12-13 hours at night and doesn't ever wake up with a rash.

We go 11-12 hours at night without a change, assuming no poop. For some reason at 4 months though he's started pooping middle of the night for the first time!
We use pampers baby dry as well for night time.

We don't. Bedtime is 7:30pm and he gets up around 6. MOTN diaper changes make DS scream like a maniac and getting him back to bed is much harder. Last night I was SURE he pooped, and suffered a scream fest only to discover there was no poo. TMI?

My DD is 5 months old and I change her at 8pm when she goes down and don't change her again until 7am.

Depends on how full the diaper feels. Usually somewhere in between 4-5am! My next Amazon shipment I'm going to order overnight diapers then I'll let her go all night.

My kid sleeps 12 hours most nights -- I'm not ruining that for anything. He doesn't have particularly sensitive skin or anything that would make me change my strategy.

We don't. She's 7.5 mo and usually sleeps around 10 hours. We don't use cream either unless she's rashy, which she usually is not.

We go all night. She gets changed at 8 pm (we use Best Bottoms cloth) with an extra insert and a spray of CJ's Butt Spray, then into bed she goes. We change when we wake her up at 6:30 am.

We go all night, too. I can't remember exactly when we stopped changing them at night feedings, but I'm thinking it was around when they dropped to one feeding.

We would go all night, 12-13 hours, and we very rarely dealt with leaks. I would only change if she pooped (she slept through the night very early on and only pooped if she woke up and cried (so we knew it happened.)

Lately she's been going to bed early at 630. She usually wakes up around 3 and her diaper is so wet that often she has soaked through her jammies. So we change it every night around 3 then she sleeps until 730/8.

We use Huggies Overnites and we don't change him all night (8pm to 6:30am)

We go all night. I stuff her pocket diaper with extra absorbency. I still get up to feed her twice a night, but I do not move her from her bed or change her. She never poops overnight. I also use Gro Via's magic stick and it works amazingly! Any redness is gone almost immediately and I've never had bad diaper rash. I love that stuff.

We stopped doing nighttime diaper changes when she started STTN at 7 weeks. She sleeps 12-14 hours every night, never has diaper changes, and she's perfectly fine!

We cloth diaper, but started using disposables at night (since she kept waking up covered in pee). Now, if she sleeps all night (bwahahahah, that rarely happens), we leave her in a disposable all night. If she wakes up, it's usually because she's pooped, so we'll change her.

@blackbird: It works well with cloth? We hadn't found a CD safe cream before we switched to disposables at night. I'd love to get back to cloth.

@littlejoy: yes it's CD safe, completely. I like the milk and honey one.

@Cole: awesome, hope you like it!!! The tub is the best. I bought a stick for travel and it sucks

@blackbird: duh why have I never thought of this we use cj's but never at night
wonderful grape / 20453 posts
@jetsa: What do you use?! Man I slather her up like a greased pig
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
DD is 1 mo and I usually change before her late night feeding, between 10-12. Then go all night unless she pooped.
grapefruit / 4663 posts
@blackbird: nothing over night and so I always worry it's too much moisture, cj's will be the prefect barrier.
