I honestly can't remember how long I've had one of mine (high school maybe?). It works so well and I haven't found a replacement for it, so I just keep cleaning it out every few months.

Until they die. I just bought my current one, but the one before it was about 10 years old.

I think my brush is 3 years old but I use a Goody comb that must be 25 years old!

I don't own a hair brush!

Until all the bristles fall out or melt (for my hair dryer brushes). My paddle brush is a good 8 years old, my round brush is less than 6 months. The bristles end up curled and melted by 8-12 months and need replacing.

Every once in a while I'll run my fingers through my hair.
My hair's straight and usually up in a ponytail! -
Usually until I lose it in a hotel or something. I think I've had my current brushes for at least 5 years, since I moved up here.

Until I lose it or all the bristles fall out or the handle falls off...sometimes I'll even keep using it after that...
