I let him play until he calls for me! He's 2.5 and we always let him chill until he complained (like before he could call for me).

I leave him until he calls for me or gets upset--can be up to 40min. He's 27 months.

On the weekends? As long as I can possibly wait. ha! During the week, I think the sitter gets her after about 10 - 20 minutes. She rarely starts calling to us or whining, I think she could stay in there for an hour before she would! But I always feel too bad. (she's 20 months).

DS is 2.5 and we let him stay in his crib so long as he's happy. He usually calls for us 10-15 mins after he wakes up.

DS is 6 months and I let him play in his crib until he starts to (a) fuss or (b) try to swing on the mobile. The past 3 mornings scenario b has occurred.

Once my LO can call for me I'll let her stay in there until he does! But she's only almost 9 mo right now. She almost always wakes up happy and just babbles around her crib but we go get her as soon as we're aware she is up (which honestly I have no idea how long that is because she's so quiet when she wakes I'm not sure we wake up right when she does). Mostly because I feel like if she learns the only way she gets out of her crib is to start crying then she might start crying more in her crib. I feel like right now she trusts we'll get her up soon so she is patient and waits for us to get her.

I struggle with this. DD is usually very content in her crib and doesn't usually call out. I'll let her be for 5-10 mins and then I usually go get her unless it's way to early, then I try to wait until it's "normal" wake up time. Can be up to 45 mins.
