I sit with DD until she wakes up too. Id rather she be semi well rested if possible.

I sit and wait, too. He rarely sleeps longer than 30 minutes in the car, especially if we're not moving. He's a 2.5 hr napper, but won't come even close to that in the car.

I usually sit and wait. He does not transfer and even if he sleeps 10 mins he is done for the day.

I sit and wait for the baby, but my 3.5 yr old is too old for naps so I wake her up ASAP or else it will be a 9 pm bedtime.

I sit and wait. If I'm with DH, we'll drive around and run errands...he sits and wait while I run in and out!

Depends. Are we home? If so, she gets transfered. Out? No further napping once we're there.

I didn't know people sat in the car and waited for naps to finish! LO is only 4m so I guess this doesn't apply. She sleeps as long as we are moving in the car and can usually transfer into the house fine. If I get her into the house without waking her up she'll usually stay asleep 1-2 hours. Car seat naps are usually longer than crib naps!

It depends:
1. Season- if it's summer and hot out, so I have enough gas?
2. Am I starving? Is there a nearby drive thru?
2. Location- if the weather is nice and I'm home, I'll let him go indefinitely if I can clean the garage

If we are home, I sit and wait until she wakes up. If we are going somewhere I will sometimes wake her up or wait 15-20 min.
