My internet was down for the past hour or so. It didn't faze me all that much, but maybe because I have internet on my phone?
I think the longest I've gone without internet was 3 days?

We went on vacation recently and I went 8 days. Didn't miss it a bit!

It happens a lot here overseas, but it still drives me crazy every time. All of my contact with the english-speaking world is via the internet!

2 days... maybe?
We lost power because of an ice storm and it sucked not having internet or power for 1.5 days. My kindle died and I had to use this thing called a 'book'. Oh, then my iphone died, too.

If I'm on vacation, I can do without for as long as the vacation lasts (8 days being my longest so far).
AND I'm TRULY without internet, because neither Hubs nor I have smart phones.

Dudes, we lost power in CT for 7 full days this october due to a freak ice storm/snow storm. No heat, no electricity, no nothing in towns all over the state. It was the craziest time of DH and Is life!!

Depends... I did a lot of my college classes online, so when our internet would go out, it was bad. I ended up having to go to a coffee shop for hours to do homework. Or worse, it'd go out while I did my homework at 12am because I worked during the day, and I couldn't do it at all - so if it's during the school year, I can't go more than a few hours.
But otherwise, I could go a few days, as long as I had something else to do!

If I'm on vacation, I could do without. Everyday life? I'd go crazy without it. Being available online is part of my job so, it would be pretty tough without it there.

If I'm on vacation, I can go however long. However, having the phone's GPS to help navigate us around is a huge lifesaver. Guess I could bust out the good ole paper map, if necessary.
Otherwise, I don't think I could go very long bc there's only so many things I can do before I start twitching for the internet.

Sure I could survive without internet... but what would be the point?

Exactly what @mrbee: said.
I can't really live without internet. I would go in major withdrawal.

I made it 6 days without the internet while we were on our honeymoon. Normally I would go into withdrawl if I couldn't at least check my smart phone during the day.

Uh...forever? Many generations have lived full lives without the internet

If I'm on vacation and not needing it for work, I could probably go a while. We didn't have easy access to the internet on our honeymoon, and had it not been for the hurricane and needing to rebook and change our flights, I could have easily gone the full 11 days without.
ETA: I have to use it for work, so...MAYBE 30 minutes if I'm working.

I don't mind going several days without the internet (especially because my work is all internet-based!!) BUT what I do mind is the catch-up required after being away from it for so long!!!

@mrbee: You said it!
I also don't think I could live without cable TV. We are changing TV providers and my DH asked me yesterday if I just wanted to do internet. I said noooo way! LOL. I love my cable!

What is this you talk of? I might start itching like a crack addict.
Just kidding, sort of :P.
Maybe a week and I better be on vacation!

When I'm on vacation I don't have a problem with it…the longest so far has been our honeymoon which was 7 days. If it was just a normal day though…I don't think I could!

I love vacations. DH and I have a strict no phone/computer rule while we're away. It feels SO good to be cut off from the internet.
And at home, I can be without it-- esp these days I hardly pay attn to my phone or laptop unless I'm wfh or postathoning!
