My LO has been battling a raging ear infection since Thursday and his temp has been 102 since then. I've been giving him Tylenol and it helps reduce the fever but we're getting close to 4 days of meds. I know the bottle says 5 and will call my ped, but is it typical to be having a fever this long?

My LO also had an ear infection and her fever broke after 2 days. After this many days with a fever, maybe you can call LO pediatrician and ask if there's anything else you can do to

I'm not sure, but I don't think it hurts to call your pediatrician.

At 5 days you should have your baby evaluated for possible other causes of prolonged fever.
I hope it comes down soon!
