In the morning, T might play upwards of 30 mins in his crib after waking up before he starts to whine. But it's usually 10-15 minutes. After his nap he always wants out right away.

The longest I have left her in there was 1 hour and she never makes a peep! She has always been like this which is why a video monitor is a must otherwise I would assume she was sleeping since she is so quiet! She doesn't nap anymore but happily sits her in crib for 2 hours at naptime.

0 seconds. She goes from sleeping to rolling around and moaning /yelling for us.

DS will hang out for 30 min or so in the morning. If it wasnt for the video monitor, sometimes I wouldn't even know he was up b/c he's just rolling around. Naps are shorter - he wants to play.

Depends! Today it was 20 mins between first noise and "get me naoooow." Yesterday it was zilch!

I think the longest has been close to an hour. I usually go get him though before he gets whiny. Typically I let him play happily in his bed for 30 min before I rescue him

She usually chats with the Foscam for 10-15 minutes before she starts whining.

0 minutes. She wakes up and starts fussing . . . she is *so over* the crib the second she wakes up!

In the morning she wakes up and goes back to sleep a lot, so I just let her hang out for a while. She rarely cries in the morning. After naps she cries as soon as her eyes open.

Today it was about 5 minutes, she goes anywhere from 2 minutes to 20 minutes of playtime before she starts calling for us.

Until I get him .
It actually amazes me how long he will sit/lie in his crib and hang out quietly entertaining himself because he sure as heck doesn't do that outside of his crib!

After naps he wants right out. In the morning, he will play about 10 - 15 minutes. At night, before he falls asleep he talks to his stuffed animals for at least 15 mintues.

sometimes we can get 30+ minutes on the weekends where she'll just talk, occasionally she will even fall back asleep. today though she woke up an hour early and wanted up immediately. had even put her pacifier away so she was ready to get out!
she also talks herself to sleep in the crib now.

30 minutes or more. She wakes up, makes a few noises, then starts playing with her mirror. I'll go in, turn on the crib soother, then go finish getting ready, and she plays with that. She's got independent play down pat! We let her play until she gets upset or it's time to go

Usually like, 20-30 minutes. She rolls around in her crib and talks to her lovies.

On a good day 10-15 minutes. Most days he wants "OUT mama!!!" right away After naps the longest he'll be happy without getting out is 5 minutes.

@blackbird: You are so lucky. R would cry her pretty little head off if I went in there and then leave.

I cannot comprehend the question. My LO starts screaming before she opens her eyes every time she wakes up. In the crib, in the ergo, in my arms. I can't wait until she grows out of that.

30 minutes or more, very happy about that... in the morning we get LO out of the crib at 7am or when he starts getting upset, and usually he makes it to 7 or 6:45 rolling around and talking to himself and his dinosaur blanket, even when he wakes up closer to 6:15.

0 seconds. She literally sleep crawls to pull herself up and immediately starts wailing once she's standing.

Anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour, sometimes less after a nap. She loves talking to her stuffed animals and turning the music to her aquarium on. We love laying in bed listening to her chattering away and laughing. Every now and then she wakes up and fusses right away, and that's never a good sign - she tends to be so grumpy those days! I really think she's just one of those kids who needs to wake up slowly...

M-F, about 30 minutes, and even longer on the weekends. I cheat and put a couple of things in his crib about 10 minutes before I think he's going to wake up. Books, toy cars, old Wubbanubs...I constantly change it up and it never fails to keep him distracted until I'm finished getting ready/awake.
Also, this trick never works for naps.

up to an hour! only started happening in the last few months though. before that he would be yelling as soon as he woke up

Honestly, I'm not fully sure as she does not make a peep. In the morning on the weekends we'll walk by the room and if she sees us she'll say "hi". Otherwise we wouldn't know she's awake. Same thing with her nap. I tried to take her out after i heard her stirring and she did not want to get out of the crib so I left her in there to play another half hour. lol. She likes her down time!

Not very long. Today I heard her playing quietly and thought how nice it was.... Turns out our cleaning woman put a tub of diaper cream within reach and LO helped herself to some greasy white fun.
