How long from the beginning of your LO showing signs of potty training readiness to them actually being potty trained?
DD (21.5 mos.) is starting to show some interest/signs, but I really don't think she's ready quite yet. Plus DH and I have NO interest in attempting to potty train before DS is here in March

We did more of a potty learning thing - we put a little potty in around bathroom when she was around 18 months and she's always been interested in using it before baths. Gradually we prompted her to go more and more at regular times (before and after naps etc...). I knew she was ready around her 2nd birthday but I was super pregnant so wanted to wait. We took the plunge 2 months after her birthday and it was super easy and only took her a few days to hang out it.

LO showed some signs of readiness beginning around 16 months. She was about 18 months old when we got her a potty seat but we didn't do much with it until we actually potty trained her at 22 months with the OCPT method. I think that was a good time for us and it went really smoothly.

G has been interested for a while, but it waxes and wanes. We bought her a potty seat, and sometimes she wants to sit on it. We also moved her to pull-ups, because she was getting good at taking off her diaper. I don't know what we're going to do, though!

I'm curious about this too. My son is obsessed with the potty and loves to sit on his chair and tells me when he goes...but I'm zero percent interested in actually doing any training. I'm hoping if I put it off long enough, he'll just do it himself?

My child never showed any signs! We waited and finally trained her over the summer after she turned 3. We took her to an open house at preschool, let her play for an hour, and then said she couldn't go to school unless she used the potty (true). But she had never shown any interest at all before then.
