We met at age 4. We lived a few houses away from each other. Our relationship has taken its toll over the years with marriage and kids and moving but I love that we can always reconnect like time never passed!

I have two. One I've known since I was 3, our moms met in a "mom and me" class. I always think of us more as sisters than friends though... we don't talk a whole lot and she lives on the opposite coast. But she's family and we're always there for each other when it counts and she's the sort of person I could not talk to for a year and then pick up right where we left off.
The other is a more traditional bff. Met 9 years ago (wow I didn't realize it had been so long!) in law school. She only went for 1 year before transferring so for 8 of 9 years we've not lived in the same city, but we talk almost every day and we go see each other at least 1-2/year.

15 years - I moved around a ton growing up, so I don't have anyone other than my siblings who I've known since I was younger than my teen years.

I don't remember this, but I'd say we met when she was about 3 1/2 and I was about a week old. We've been more like sisters our whole lives, but we really became "best friends" after I went to college.

@Mamaof2: it is the best! I practically lived at her house growing up so my in laws are like my second family. It was just a touch awkward though when I had to call my BFF and tell her I was dating her brother!! Lol

Since I was 4. We also lived just a few streets away. We were off and on friends throughout school but only just because we had some different interests. Always close, nonetheless. And then after high school we started dating best friends. And our lives have been a happy foursome ever since!
