I'm currently on day 63. My doctor said to call him if I got to day 90 without a period and he would prescribe my something to induce a period. He said its important to have a period at least every 90 days when not on hormonal birth control

My longest was 41. 63 is really long. I'm surprised your doctor wants you to wait all the way until 90. Is this your first cycle off BC?

Mine was past 90 after BCP, I then went to OBGYN for provera that induced it, but I didn't get it after that time on my own again that was the case for 4-5 months leading me down the road to clomid and tests, I have weak ovulation on my own so at times it won't trigger AF

I think my longest was 45 or 46. Then they slowly got on track and my last one before getting pregnant was 28 days.

The summer I went off the pill, I went six months without a period.

My first two off BC were 42 and 63. I was going to wait until day 90 before calling.

@mrs. 64: I went off BCP August. My first cycle was 61 days long. I'm getting nervous with my body that I won't have a normal cycle.

@MrsBrewer: no. we were actively TTC and couldn't be referred to an RE until we had one year documented TTC. I needed provera to start my second cycle of Clomid, and got pregnant that month.
I was "regular" again when I went back on BCP after having my daughter in 2011. I went back to irregular once I went back off the pill to TTC #2!

111 days, only ended by Provera. My doctor also said every 90 days, but when I called to get a prescription around 80 days he was on vacation.

Of recent years...I think I'm in it right now! Day 39 post mc, and no AF in sight...
Back in the day when I was on the pill; (off and on it for years) when I'd go off it, I'd skip a month usually.

Currently at day 84. Had my annual check-up today and my gyn prescribed Provera. I also have to go back in 4 weeks for an ultrasound and follow-up to figure out what's going on.
LO was born 14 months ago and I've had 2 periods since birth. Hoping to get answers!

36 days ... okay I thought that was long but you ladies sure blew that out of the water!

Over 100 days when I was keeping track, although I have gone 3-6 months in the past when I was a teenager. They finally regulated themselves to approx. every 42 days in the last few years, and have never been closer than that. (I didn't need meds to get pregnant either time, even with long cycles.)

I had a 32 day cycle the month I was taking the bar. I usually have 26-28 day cycles, so I just chalked it up to stress. Surprisingly, I also had the exact opposite, and had a 23 day cycle the month I was waiting for bar results. Crazy!
