I have been on since I first found out I was pregnant, between 3-4 weeks pregnant! That was January 2012. DD is now almost 6 months and if I had to guess I'd say I will be on HB til she's a year? Not sure beyond that if I don't get pregnant again, but maybe longer since I'm thinking many of you may stick around and the toddler community may expand as well???

I've been active on HB since LO was about 4 months old. She's now a year, and although I don't get to post as much as I used to now that she's so active, I still enjoy reading the blogs and catching up on the forums when I get a chance. It's also been really helpful to get advice on feeding since that's what I struggle the most with.

As long as I'm enjoying it here. I've been on since we started TTC and now my son is almost 5 months. I'm sure the parents with toddlers community will grow and I plan to have another. I enjoy the community here.

I see myself staying on for awhile. I've also been here since ttc and DS is 5 months. Once he's a toddler we'll be ttc again so it should all stay relevant for awhile!

I think I will always have questions even when my LO is in school. Parenting is a long journey! I would love to help new parents get answers too, if I've been there done that I might as well help a new mom or dad out with some tips/advice. I think since right now a lot of us have babies or are having babies, there will be more of us with toddlers and school aged kids down the road.

I would be so sad if the toddler community didn't continue to grow. A much as I love the baby focus of HB I'd love to see a little more focus on parenting as well.

I would love to see the site grow towards the older children, as our babies grow older, too. My ds is 5 and in kindergarten, and while I know that I'm not the only one, it would be nice to have more parents with that level. It's actually rare to find a parenting community that isn't all baby-toddler based. But, since LO is due any day, at least the site will still be relevant for everything to do with her.

DH asked me this the other day!! I said that I will stay on it as long as there are other bees at similar life stages to me - eg have LOs the same age. I've found HB compeltely invaluable in making decisions, planning for the next step of my life (becoming a parent) and TTCing. The community has also helped to to naviage the first few months of pregnancy, so far. I suspect that as my LO grows I wil have questions about waning and tantrums and starting school - and as long as there are people here to answer those questions and share experiences, I will find the site a great resource.

I've been active since TTC and I don't see myself leaving unless the site goes in a different direction. I see similar age moms staying into toddler years. The beautiful thing about this site is parenthood never ends unlike WB where the wedding does come to an end!

I've got another 7 months of pregnancy, and then at least a year or two of babyhood, by then i'm pretty sure HB will have evolved into a toddler-kid site because the members who post most often will keep posting about their older kids!

@katiew92081: even though I know 5 isn't quite toddler any more you should start a thread for folks with older kids in either toddler or your little one forum! If there are more threads, posts etc about older kids I bet Mr Bee will create a board for older kids just like there's one for infants & toddlers.

Funny I was thinking about this last night.
Is it sick that I am already excited for the next time I can join a POAS thread? LOL.
I figure by the time LO #2 gets a few months old I will probably retire from HB? I don't doubt that it will always be useful, but I am betting on having my hands a little more full and I don't think I will want to be on the computer as much at that point! Surely to browse and then I will have to "Hello Bee Wean" ....how's that for new terminology

I don't have an end point in mind. I expect the site to grow with the Bee kiddos, so I expect it to stay relevant for me. We're planning at least 2 more kids over the next 5ish years, so I'll appreciate the community support for some time still.

My DD is 4.5 and DS is 18 months. I can think of a few other moms out there who have similarly aged (if not older) LOs. I don't think this site should just stop at babies or even toddlers. Otherwise, it should be called a "parenting for baby and toddler" site, not just a "parenting" site!

I've been on HB for over a year and am not KU so I imagine I'll be on here for a long time. I agree that the site will likely evolve as everyone's babies grow.
